Ivy Nichols is a Northwest native.  Born and raised in Western Washington, she attended Central Washington University, studying music and art and received a degree in fine art and graphic design from Burnley School of Art in Seattle (now the Art Institute of Seattle.)

 

Ivy has been a professional artist for over 20 years and is one of the most prolific sculptors in the United States today.  Literally hundreds of sculptures have been created to customer’s specifications, some as one off commissions and many as production products for garden and home décor manufacturers and retailers.

 

From 1997 to 2006 Ivy was the lead model maker for a line of reproductions of the stone products that were originally designed by noted architect Frank Lloyd Wright, creating the original positive sculptures and designing and fabricating the molds.

 

Ivy has also been commissioned to create large public sculptures for public institutions and resort destinations.
